These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of ez-learn.
By creating an account or using ez-learn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About ez-learn
ez-learn helps you learn from PDF books, including scanned documents, through guided reading, key ideas, summaries, questions, concepts, knowledge maps, and practice.
We automatically identify the reading content and may ask you to choose the pages if needed. During preparation, you choose a supported study language for the generated materials. The original book remains available in its original language.
After reading, your learning plan may offer a short check, a final exam with optional retakes, and maintenance checks and practice. Availability depends on your progress, prepared materials, and account access. We do not promise a fixed number of maintenance checks or a fixed interval between them.
ez-learn is an educational tool. It does not guarantee that generated materials are complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular examination, course, profession, or purpose.
Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use ez-learn.
If the law in your country requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, those requirements also apply.
Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information.
- Keeping your password confidential.
- All activity carried out through your account.
- Notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not create an account for someone else without permission or create multiple accounts to bypass limits, pricing, restrictions, or account actions.
Where guest access is available, you may try supported features before creating an account. Guest access has its own limits and may expire. Some features require a registered or verified account.
Uploaded Books and User Content
You may upload only books and documents that you own, control, or are legally authorized to use.
You must not upload:
- Pirated or unlawfully obtained books.
- Content that infringes another person’s copyright or other rights.
- Malware or harmful files.
- Personal information that you are not authorized to process.
- Content that violates applicable law.
You retain your rights in content you upload or create through ez-learn.
You grant ez-learn a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, convert, process, transmit, and modify that content only as necessary to operate and provide the service, including sending relevant content to selected AI service providers to generate requested materials.
Your books, generated materials, questions, answers, and learning progress are associated with your account or guest session and are not made public through ez-learn. ez-learn does not provide a feature for sharing this content with other users.
AI-Generated Materials
ez-learn may use third-party AI providers to process your content and generate learning materials.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable for your needs. You are responsible for reviewing generated materials and comparing them with the original book or other reliable sources.
AI-generated materials are not professional advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for medical, legal, financial, academic, or other professional advice.
Assessment results, concept mastery estimates, and review recommendations are learning aids. They are not qualifications, certifications, or guarantees of examination results. Final-exam retakes record additional attempts; they do not replace the need to complete required learning steps.
To the extent permitted by law, you may use generated materials for your personal learning purposes. AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection, and third-party provider terms may affect ownership or permitted use.
Acceptable Use
You may use ez-learn only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Violate copyright, privacy, or other rights.
- Upload malicious, illegal, or abusive content.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or content.
- Interfere with ez-learn’s security or operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent technical limits.
- Use automated systems to abuse the service.
- Use ez-learn to develop or train a competing service without permission.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute ez-learn access unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Attempt to bypass subscription, credit, upload, or usage restrictions.
- Use generated content to mislead others about its origin or accuracy.
Paid Features, Subscriptions, and Credits
Some ez-learn features may require payment. Prices, billing periods, taxes, included usage, credits, and limits will be shown before purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid feature, you authorize Stripe and its payment partners to process the applicable payment.
Subscriptions
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
You may cancel a subscription through the available account controls or by contacting us. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal while allowing access to continue until the end of the current paid period.
Credits and usage
Some features may use credits or other usage allowances. Credits:
- Are for use within ez-learn.
- Are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless required by law.
- May be subject to expiration, limits, or usage rules shown at purchase.
- May not be used to bypass account or service restrictions.
We may correct pricing, credit, or billing errors and may cancel transactions affected by an obvious error.
Refunds and withdrawal rights
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Where applicable, consumers in the European Union may have a statutory withdrawal period for online services. If you expressly request that a digital service begin immediately, and acknowledge the legal consequences, your withdrawal rights may be affected once performance begins. The applicable information will be provided during checkout where required. (European Commission guidance, EUR-Lex)
Any additional refund policy displayed at checkout or in your account also applies.
Intellectual Property
The ez-learn service, including its software, design, branding, text, interfaces, and underlying technology, belongs to ez-learn or its licensors.
These Terms give you permission to use ez-learn for personal or authorized internal purposes. They do not transfer ownership of ez-learn or its underlying technology to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from ez-learn except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us.
The ez-learn name and branding may not be used without our prior written permission.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe content submitted to ez-learn infringes your copyright, contact us at contact@ez-learn.app with:
- Your contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The location of the allegedly infringing content.
- A statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorized.
- A good-faith confirmation that your report is accurate.
We may remove content, restrict an account, or take other appropriate action.
Service Availability
We aim to keep ez-learn available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, provider outages, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice or remedies.
Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using ez-learn at any time and may request account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms.
- Your use creates security, legal, or operational risks.
- Payment obligations are not met.
- We are required to do so by law.
- We discontinue the relevant service.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Account termination does not remove obligations that are intended to continue, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the ez-learn Privacy Policy.
Information may be processed by service providers involved in hosting, payments, email delivery, security, product analytics, and AI-powered processing, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
ez-learn may depend on third-party services, including hosting, payment, email, analytics, and AI providers. If you follow a link to an external community, such as Discord, your activity there is also subject to that service’s terms and privacy policy. Do not post private books, account details, or other sensitive information in a public community.
Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, although we will take reasonable steps to manage the providers we use to operate ez-learn.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ez-learn is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:

Mandatory consumer, statutory, or other legal rights remain unaffected.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ez-learn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including loss of profits, data, opportunities, academic results, or business interruption.
Our total liability arising from ez-learn will not exceed the amount you paid to ez-learn for the relevant service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The legality of content you upload.
- Reviewing AI-generated materials before relying on them.
- Maintaining backups of important books and learning materials.

Before bringing a formal claim, please contact us at contact@ez-learn.app so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where required.
Your continued use of ez-learn after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the changes.
